Vacancy: Digital Marketing Content Creator

 CAPE TOWN OPPORTUNITY IN A CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURIAL ENVIRONMENT


The CDI is looking for a creative storyteller with a passion for digital marketing, a love of the creative sector
and is highly skilled at crafting compelling content that drives engagement and boosts brand visibility. This
position in our Market Development team will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has
a knack for combining creativity with analytics.

 

DIGITAL MARKETING CONTENT CREATOR


(Five-Month Contract Position)


Your responsibilities will include: Developing creative and engaging content for the marketing and
promotion of CDI’s Market Development Programme activities l Manage the distribution of content on all
social media platforms for the Market Development Programme l Provide content development support for
the Market Development team l Monitor, manage and provide analyses of the Programme activities’
engagement on all platforms l Assist with event coordination and public relations activities as and when
required


You will need: Degree in marketing/communication/journalism or a related field | at least 5 years relevant
working experience | certifications in digital marketing, SEO, content marketing or social media management
would be an advantage, but a minimum of working experience in these areas would be required |
exceptional editing and writing skills | a high level of visual literacy | excellent verbal communication skills |
extensive experience with social media management tools | proficiency in using CMS platforms and design
tools | strong organisational and administration skills | to be familiar with content management systems,
SEO, basic CSS and HTML | to be a creative thinker with the ability to research and generate ideas | up-to-date
knowledge of industry developments| knowledge of WordPress will be an advantage
