CDI VACANCY: DATA ANALYST
CAPE TOWN OPPORTUNITY IN A CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURIAL ENVIRONMENT
The Craft + Design Institute (CDI) requires the services of an experienced and pioneering data analyst to drive the organisation’s information strategy to enable the CDI to report effectively on outputs, outcomes and impact.
You will be reporting to the team of the CEO and COO, and your responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the collection and acquisition of data
• Prepare and clean data
• Carry out the analysis and interpretation of data collected
• Responsible for the visualisation of data and reporting on it
• Ensure the effective management of the organisation’s database and queries relating to it
• Assist with monitoring and evaluation
You will need:
• A tertiary qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, with at least 3 – 5 years relevant working experience in information management, data governance and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant data protection and privacy regulations
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven
• To be a quick and willing learner and a sensitive individual with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a team and on your own.
