The speakers: 

 

Patrice Boyer, Turnkey Water Solutions

Patrice is a Civil Engineer and Project Manager at Turnkey Water Solutions (TWS), which is an independent company specialising in water management and dedicated to the agriculture, industry, tourism and small communities sectors. Their mission is to be actively involved in projects that address sustainable water management, environmental as well as social impact issues. He will speak on sustainable water management-application to remote communities.

Elizabeth Barclay from the Western Cape Government

Elizabeth Barclay is a Chief Town and Regional Planner in the Development Planning Intelligence Management and Research Unit within the Western Cape Government’s Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning. She describes herself as a scenario planner untangling the web of the future for places and spaces.

 

Elizabeth will discuss the use of ''persona development'' - which is an archetypal representation of people - in the Western Cape Government's research and development project which seeks to address water-use consciousness in the Western Cape.

 

Justin Friedman from FLOW (For the Love of Water):

The unifying message of “For the Love of Water” (FLOW) communicates an understanding that, to nurture life, as human beings and as shared custodians of planet earth, we need to live and act for the love of water. Justin Friedman, the founder of FLOW, will be talking about the bio-mimicry project ''Genius of Space'', as well as a few of the other water-related projects that FLOW has been involved with.
