This introduction workshop is aimed at introducing new users to the Product Support Facility. Its focus is on exposing participants to the range of tools and processes available within the space. Areas introduced include 3d scanning, 3d printing, vinyl cutting and transfers onto fabric, 3D milling as well as digital design and fabrication processes. Participants are taken through a demonstration and discussion type process by programme staff. 

Based at our office at the V&A Waterfront, our Product Support space is an assisted DIY facility with tools to assist craft producers, designers, students, and businesses to develop new, and refine existing product. 
 
Examples of what you can get assistance with: 

• Initial consultation to discuss the concept, development, refinement or creation of a product 
• Prototyping 
• Follow up consultations 
• Assistance with marketing material development (such as design of your business cards, flyers, catalogues, pricelists etc.) 
  
• Development of display stands, and packaging
