About the project and speakers:
The Butterfly Art Project are a group of caring artists, community art facilitators and art teachers who want to see children thrive in South Africa. The organisation is made up of passionate local staff, volunteers, and support from around the world.
The Project currently has two major programmes that include an Art centre in a disadvantaged community working with up to 1010 kids per week; and also a Community Art Partners programme that focuses on teaching adults how to run their own art interventions in their own communities.
