Members are given guidelines based on research to help them use social media to its full advantage. The workshop is strongly focused on craft producers and is designed to help the business owner to promote their business to a global market.
Participants need to have good product photos, a well-written story/profile for their business including branding (eg. logo) together with a Wi-Fi enabled laptop, all of which must be brought with to the workshop.

The workshop covers: Understanding social media, developing an online marketing strategy, how to set up a Facebook page, how to set up a Twitter account, developing content for digital space, and e-commerce: (Integrating Pinterest and Etsy and how to increase the following on your social media platforms).
